He has a business degree, and appreciates the work and advice of Roy Williams, best selling author and guru to the advertising industry. Coffin’s writing was included in the book, Accidental Magic, compiled by Williams, and he was the first graduate of the Wizard Academy in Austin, Texas, where some of the country’s brightest advertising minds have gone to recharge and rethink old ways of doing things.

Heck, we’re afraid of the old ones” says Coffin, quoting a popular avant-garde musician. “The best ads are about your customers, not about your business. Advertising has to be relatable to your prospective customer. The old ways of doing things are dusty and ineffective.” He likes to challenge everything you assume about your customer, and figure out how to reach them 52 weeks a year, when your customers need to buy, not when you need to sell. “We’re excited to energize small, medium, and large businesses, with ideas as big as the sky, and more effective than most.”
